Please Welcome Our New President – Ted Holroyd
At the AGM held on 2 September in the Victory Services Club. Our Chairman Ted Holroyd was nominated by Gary Marsh and seconded by Bill Hayles for the post of President of the Armourers’ Association.
A vote by those attending the AGM was unanimous and Ted took on the role of President with effect from 3 September 2023.
Ted was the only nominee received by the Secretary after all members of the Association were given the opportunity to put names forward.
Please Also Welcome Our New Chairman – Jay Neal
At the AGM, once Ted had been elected as President, he was asked to speak to Jay Neal as his natural successor and ask if he was prepared to take on the role of Chairman. Jay said yes immediately and so we now have our new Chairman as well as President.
Jay has been our Vice-Chairman since 2020 and has worked with the committee during that period to help bring on-board more of our serving members.
