Dear Sir.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I’m Brian Serrell, a former Royal Marine, ( 9 Years ) and I’m involved in an effort along with a fellow Royal Marine, and the Gloucestershire AVA, to get the GSM reinstated for the period 1960-1964, and our aim is to get as many ranks who served out there on those dates, to come on board with us.
We are fortunate to have a number of MPs already on board, but its bodies from other units that we want on board ‘’to put some meat on the bone’’ so to speak, hence this note, and we wondered if you’d be so kind and put it to your members.
This would be very much appreciated, and we can send a bit more detail upon a reply.
