Association Rules – Revised 2021

Updated Association Rules

We have made several changes to the Association Rules, with the changes being voted in at the latest AGM, held at The Marsh Farm Hotel, Royal Wootton Bassett on 04 September 2021.

Royal Gibraltar Regiment

The changes include bringing the Royal Gibraltar Regiment members from Associate Membership to Full Members.  The caveat being, they must have completed their training at a recognised British Army training establishment e. g. SEME, Bordon or DSEME Lyneham. You will see that their cap badge is now included on our Home Page.

Additionally, we have included them in the distribution of funds in the unlikely event of the Association being wound-up.

New Annex C – Web Site

We have also included a new Annex C to the rules.  This provides a framework for our web site management to take us into the future.

Don’t forget that you may contribute articles to the web site or even become an Author with access to the web site itself, just speak to the Secretary.

Bank Account

Our bank, the HSBC has now decided to change the name of our account to “Charity” and to charge us for cheques paid in, money across the counter and also a £5.00 monthly fee.  So it was decided at the AGM to find another bank that would be more sympathetic to our needs.
